At Curat House, we want you to love what arrives at your door. If something isn't right, we're here to help.
30-day return policy
You have 30 days from the day you receive your order to request a return. To be eligible, the item must be:
- In the same condition as received, undamaged and unused
- In its original packaging, including any protective materials
- Accompanied by the receipt or proof of purchase
To start a return, contact us at info@curathouse.com with your order number and the reason for the return. Once approved, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Items returned without prior authorisation will not be accepted.
Return shipping costs
The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in transit. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
European Union 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU.
To exercise this right, please notify us at info@curathouse.com within the 14-day period. You must return the item within 14 days of notifying us. The item must be unused and in its original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer. You can download our model withdrawal form here or simply notify us by email at info@curathouse.com with the same information.
We will refund the full purchase price (including original standard shipping costs) within 14 days of receiving the returned item, using the same payment method used for the original transaction.
Damaged or incorrect items
Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, contact us at info@curathouse.com within 7 days of delivery, including:
- Your order number
- Clear photographs of the damaged item
- Photographs of the outer packaging (this helps us with insurance claims)
We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. In these cases, you do not need to return the original item unless we specifically request it.
Non-returnable items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom or personalised orders, including bespoke sizes, custom framing, or any item produced to specifications not listed on our standard catalogue
- Sale items and items purchased with promotional discounts greater than 20%
- Digital Downloads
Exchanges
The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the original item (once the return is accepted) and place a new separate order for the replacement.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will email you to confirm whether the refund has been approved.
If approved, the refund will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process and post the refund to your account.
If more than 15 business days have passed since we approved your return and you have not received your refund, please contact us at info@curathouse.com.
