Overview

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CURAT HOUSE digital and physical prints, as well as any related services.
By purchasing from CURAT HOUSE you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of CURAT HOUSE services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Product description

CURAT HOUSE offers:

  • Digital prints: delivered in high-resolution format.

  • Physical fine art prints: printed to order on premium fine art paper and shipped worldwide in protective packaging. 

We have made every effort to provide an accurate representation of our products and services in our online stores. However, please note that colors or product appearance may differ from how they may appear on your screen due to the type of device you use to access the store and your device settings and configuration.

Our prints are reproductions of original artworks and their state of restoration, which may reflect the pass of time. When deemed artistically relevant, some of these imperfections have been maintained as part of the character of the piece.

 

License of Use for Digital Downloads and Ownership of Physical Products

  • Scope of Application: The restrictions set forth in this section apply exclusively to artworks purchased as Digital Downloads. These terms do not apply to the purchase of Physical Reproductions (printed posters, framed artworks, or any other tangible goods). The purchase of physical products constitutes a sale of tangible property, transferring ownership of the physical item to the Customer.
  • License for Digital Files: All digital artworks purchased from CURAT HOUSE are licensed, not sold. You are granted a non-exclusive, personal, and non-transferable license to download and print the artwork solely for personal display (e.g., in your home, office, studio, or local boutique).
  • Digital File Restrictions: You may not share, redistribute, reproduce for sale, or modify the digital file in any way. This includes, but is not limited to, uploading the file online, sending it to others, or reselling it in either digital or physical form.
  • Commercial Use: Commercial use of digital files, including use in marketing, advertising, or resale as a derivative product, is strictly prohibited unless prior written permission is granted by Curat House. The Customer acknowledges that while the original artwork is in the public domain, the digital file provided is the result of a technical digitization and restoration process protected by Curat House’s rights over that specific digital asset.

Shipping and delivery

  • Production: Physical prints are produced on demand. Production times may vary and will be specified at checkout.

  • Shipping: We ship worldwide, with delivery times depending on your location and the carrier. See our shipping and delivery information. 

  • Packaging: All prints are shipped in protective packaging to prevent damage in transit.

  • Returns: Due to the made-to-order nature of our products, returns or exchanges are only accepted if the item arrives damaged or defective. Please see our return policy.

  • Customs & Duties: International orders may be subject to customs fees, import duties, or taxes, which are the responsibility of the customer.

 

Intellectual Property

All CURAT HOUSE designs, images and text are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. Any unauthorized use, duplication, or distribution may result in legal action.

 

Limitation of Liability

CURAT HOUSE is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or services, shipping delays, or errors in our offerings.

We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time and may limit the quantities of any products that we offer to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction, on a case-by-case basis. 


Relationship with Shopify

 
CURAT HOUSE is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you. However, any sales and purchases you make in our Store are made directly with CURAT HOUSE. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that Shopify is not responsible for any aspect of any sales between you and CURAT HOUSE, including any injury, damage, or loss resulting from purchased products and services. You hereby expressly release Shopify and its affiliates from all claims, damages, and liabilities arising from or related to your purchases and transactions with CURAT HOUSE. 

Privacy Policy

 
All personal information we collect through the Services is subject to our Privacy Policy, and certain personal information may be subject to Shopify's Privacy Policy, which can be viewed here. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read these privacy policies.

 

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Barcelona, Spain.
