Walzendruckpapier (Roller-Printed Paper), Aktiengesellschaft für Buntpapier und Leimfabrikation (1855–1900).
Roller printing took decorated paper out of the bookbinder's workshop and into the factory. This fine all-over pattern was made by the Aktiengesellschaft für Buntpapier und Leimfabrikation in Aschaffenburg, then the centre of the German decorated-paper industry, and deliberately revives older designs: a quiet, repeating texture of the kind that once lined books and boxes. Part of the collection of the Kunstbibliothek, Staatliche Museen zu Berlin.
Format & Paper: Each print is produced as a museum-quality Giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching, a warm, textured cotton paper that honours the depth and tonal richness of each work.
Size: Aktiengesellschaft für Buntpapier und Leimfabrikation — Walzendruckpapier · 29 × 42 cm
