Januskopf (Janus Head), Otto Meyer-Amden (1885–1933).
A face turned two ways at once. Meyer-Amden renders the Janus figure with quiet intensity. Almost spectral, Janus is caught between past and future in a narrow palette stripped to its essentials. The work belongs to the artist's relatively small surviving body of around 500 paintings and drawings, dispersed today across Swiss public collections (including the Kunstmuseum Basel), and private holdings.
Format & Paper: Each print is produced as a museum-quality Giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching, a warm, textured cotton paper that honours the depth and tonal richness of each work.
Size: Otto Meyer-Amden — Januskopf · 30 × 40 cm
