A grove of trees in the park of Kleinheubach Castle, an example of German Realism. Eysen worked between Frankfurt and Munich, associated with the Leibl circle and known for landscapes of meticulous, almost ascetic attention. Part of the permanent collection of the Städel Museum, Frankfurt.
